Miracle Hill serves residents with various payer sources which include Medicaid, Medicare, VA, Hospice and private pay.
Upon admission each resident receives a comprehensive assessment, administered by our seasoned staff of health care providers and caregivers. This assessment provides a foundation for an individualized plan of care for each resident. An interdisciplinary team participates in the assessment of each resident and all staff provides care as specified in the goals and approaches of each care plan.
Under the direction of our medical director, our facility renders skilled nursing and rehabilitative services as required and ordered. Miracle Hill also provides a full range of restorative services that are designed to promote resident well being and independence.

Each resident has a staff member assigned to meet his/her specific needs. This approach has created a special bond between resident and healthcare worker, enabling each to know the other as a unique individual. These general services are an example of more ways in which our residents are cared for, with a personal touch.
Socialization Opportunities - Residents at Miracle Hill are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to participate in our daily activities. Special activities are provided to promote resident and family interaction. Our strong volunteer organization assists in providing activities to meet the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of each resident. Community involvement enhances the services provided to residents.
Dietary Services - Each day residents are served three nutritious and well balanced meals. Miracle Hill gives resident as many menu options as possible. Our dining program is designed to provide a home-away-from home environment. Socialization during meals is highly encouraged. A team effort is required from all departments in preserving good health for all our residents. Restorative dining is provided to promote independence in feeding. Through Dietary Services, we are able to offer exceptional nutritional care that can readily accommodate residents with special diet needs and physician ordered therapeutic diets.
Additional Services - Miracle Hill offers full-time housekeeping and laundry services that are included in our daily room rates. However, if requested, residents may have their laundry done by outside sources, such as family. We offer transportation to and from social affairs and appointments as requested by the residents. Residents will also feel quite secure with our state-of-the-art security system.
Skilled Medical and Nursing services are essential to the plan of care for residents who are in recovery and for those whose activities of daily living cannot be provided for at home. These residents may require skilled nursing care following a surgical procedure, and acute condition or an exacerbation of a chronic illness. Skilled medical services include respiratory services, comprehensive wound care, infusion therapy, and digestive disorder services. These residents typically require an increased frequency of nursing assessment and monitoring.

Miracle Hill also provides a full range of restorative services that are designed to promote resident well being and independence. We offer the following services:
Restorative Dining - Residents are assisted in maintaining the highest practical ability in dining skills and abilities.
Bowel and Bladder - Resident is assisted in becoming continent and able to use the lavatory independently. This promotes self esteem and restores dignity, and maintains skin integrity.
Restorative Ambulation - Resident is assisted with increasing mobility and overall health with an emphasis on circulation, digestion, elimination, muscle strength and socialization.
Restorative Wheelchair Mobility - Resident is assisted in increasing independence and wheelchair mobility with an emphasis on proper, safe and comfortable positioning and alignment.
Restorative Range of Motion - Resident is assisted in maintaining joint integrity and muscle pliability while preventing contracture formation.
Restorative Self Care - Resident is assisted in maintaining or increasing self care abilities relating to bathing, dressing and grooming.
We are very fortunate at Miracle Hill to have a very strong, and supportive Volunteer Services. These services allow our residents the opportunity to enjoy a variety of community organizations, activities, churches, and other cultural groups.
Local Pastors/Ministers provide morning devotional/worship services for our residents Monday thru Friday for one hour, starting at 8:00a.m.
Thanks to our volunteers, residents are privileged with the opportunity to have buttons replaced, rips mended, and any other sewing needs attended to by our volunteer sewing program. Residents are also invited to participate in activities such as, learning how to sew, quilt making, and other specialty items. The quilts and other items are sold, and the funds are used to purchase additional materials or supplies. This activity is scheduled every Wednesday from 9:00-11:00a.m., and has been in place since the 1980's.
The Ice Cream parlor is one of our main shining stars, within Volunteer Services. The Ice Cream parlor is open Monday thru Friday from 11:30am to 3:30pm. Proceeds from the Ice Cream parlor have assisted Miracle Hill with the purchase of additional wheelchairs, and other specialty items needed to make the residents feel as comfortable as possible.
Our volunteers are called upon to assist our resident with community trips, special events/promotions at the nursing center, and other extracurricular activities. High school and College Students doing volunteer hours are involved in conducting recreational activities, one-on-one interaction with bed bound residents, reading, letter writing, general conversation, and games.
We share community based partnerships with a number of churches, pastors, ministers, deacons, musicians, and organizations who are committed to sharing time with our residents.
